Interview with HYDRA

1. Why the name "Hydra"?
(@Hydra__303 : Because most of my personalities are extreme. Its easier to have to have one word explaining all of my persona's. Hydra is a mythical creature that which has 9 heads. Its believed when one head is cut two more grows back in its place. That's like my personal emotions. When challeneged (cutting a head off) i get extremely mad and violent (growing two heads back).

2. How long have you been doing music?
(@Hydra__303 : Years. I started when i was about 14 years old.

3. Did the known AGZ Records group "The Insane Freaks" disban? No we still perform concerts. I feel by doing my own music, solo, i am not confined to others views, choices, and opinions of how we should sound, think, or be as a group.

4. Explain each hyra-head.
(@Hydra__303 : so far i have only a few "heads" so-to-speak. The first head is Malice, the clown. Which is my fun Side. Not baloons and candy clown though. Violence makes me smile the biggest. Rabbies, The War Tauren. This is the extreme violent side of me. The part of me that feels to kill and destroy by any means necissary is a way of life. Zeagon, The Demon. Self explanitory. The evil we all have inside of us. Dark Angel, the undead. Because i am a restless soul. And everyone should have something undead *laughs*. More to be named as i feel fit.

5. What is in the works for 2011? (@Hydra__303 : The Album "Innerds" will be released. Buy that shit people. Dont make me get malice!

6. Any advice for up-and-coming Colorado artists? Never give up. Cliche i know. Ive done this for many of years and met, performed with, and faught through many fakes, bullshitters, timewasters, money takers and just plain bitches on my journey. Just stay focused and never sell out for a few smiles and a pitcher of booze. Collab with everyone. You do meet those lifetime friends. People who will teach you new things and show you love for musics sake.

7. Why are you in the music business? (@Hydra__303 : Its a great release when you have an absentee father who can IF YOU'RE READING THIS SUCK A BARELL OF A SHOTGUN AND PULL THE TRIGGER...ha..whoops how did rabies get out *coughs* it really is theraputic when people do music without moneys intent.

8. Any regrets since starting this career?(@Hydra__303 : That shit hasnt worked out faster. Like i said before i have ran into a lot of bullshit. For a year or so i pushed aside my family because "thats how you go places". Never do that. Never forget who will always be there for u when the amps are turned off and lights go down.

9. Biggest downfalls of being a musician? The panties! Hahahaha... *punch line drum solo*. Time away from family and friends. Having a jealous wife, her punches hurt you know. And good ol' fashion hate. Haters of my words, clothes, masks, concert dates. people just pick at you like your bird seed.

10. Favorite song on this years Album? (@Hydra__303 : so far it is the song "stressed out and pissed off". But who knows in a week i might have something i like better than that one.

Magik Musik Interview

Here is a FaceBook Interview I did with producer "Magik Musik". http://touch.facebook.com/#/profile.php?id=122262804481925 *Follow Him On Twitter @MagikMusik *

1. When did you know this was the direction you wanted to go as far as it being your career?
(@Magik Musik) When did you know this was the direction you wanted to go as far as it being your career?-In 2005. I had a high school senior project and music production was my topic. From that point, I knew music was what I had to do for the rest of my life.

2. Who or what is/has been your inspiration for your art?
(@Magik Musik) My biggest musical inspiration has always been Mike E. Clark His beats and production are always so thick and bump hard! I have other people who I admire like Seven (One of Tech N9ne's producers), Fritz The Cat (Earlier Psychopathic Records producer), Tech N9ne and Twiztid. But most of my deeper nspiration comes from my life, like friends and events

3. What is your greatest memory since venturing into the music business?
(@Magik Musik) -I would say the Gathering Of The Juggalos 2008. Playing bumper cars with the golf carts with Shaggy and performing on the 2nd stage with my good homie Delusional and Seth Chaos That whole weekend was intense! Lol.

4. What are the downfalls of being a producer?
(@Magik Music) Prolly being that guy that at anytime, 5 artists or groups are really depending on you! I make beats, produce AND I am a studio engineer for multiple artists, and most have deadlines Getting all of that lined up without something going wrong would have to be a downfall for me.

5. Everyone says their a music producer, so how do you qualify who's good and who isn't?

(@Magik Musik)lol, I'd say if you really worked for someone known, then your prolly good. Being a beatsmith (just makes beats) is WAY different then a producer! A producer will be there for the entire recording and production process, pretty much guiding what and where to go

6. What about the music industry would you like to see change?
(@Magik Musik) There's too much hate in the underground music world! This guy's camp hates this guy's, but for no real reason. We al should be friends and doing collabos, not thinking your better then anyone else.

7. Since being a known producer, do you get more drama thrown your way than let's say, an "average joe"? Why do you think that is?
(@Magik Musik) I really don't see that personally. I mean every producer or artist will have their own share of drama, but I pretty much stay clear of high school drama bullshit.

8. Any Advice for up-and-comers?

(@Magik Music) Never give up! Make beats everyday, give beats away for free to get your name out there and don't think your better then any other producer! You really just have to have that "go getter attitude

9. What are your plans for 2011?

(@Magik Musik) Busy!! I'm working on an artist's first full length album righ now. Their name is L.A.B. and their from Cincinnati. Thatll be out sometime next year. Then I'm also working on my full length album due out early 2011. Not to mention the numerous artists hitting me up for just beats or remixes! (Speaking of remixes, I've got a couple on Delusional's latest mixtape! :) So go find his Facebook and get ya one! Lol)
